With three months until the start of the Blues 2019-20 regular season, one Blues fan reminisces about the journey it took to win the Stanley Cup. Bob Lieb was introduced to hockey in eighth grade by a neighborhood friend and fell for the game right away. He purchased tickets to watch the Blues at The Arena with money he made raking leaves, mowing lawns, and shoveling snow.

He remembers listening to Bobby Orr’s goal on Mother’s Day in 1970 and the time Al MacInnis joined him for a tour of the newly built Kiel Center. He is embracing his newest hockey memory, the Blues winning the Stanley Cup.
