In this week’s Inside the Lines High School Sports Podcast with Jim Powers, we continue to catch up with some of the great spring sports coaches to talk about their teams and how they are preparing for districts and the state championships. First, Jim talks with CBC Head Boys’ Golf Coach Mike McCormack about the Cadets winning a very tough district and how they are getting ready to head to the Class 5 championships next week. We then head to the diamond to talk with St. Dominic Head Baseball Coach Frank Schlenke about the outstanding season that the Crusaders are having and their road heading into district play. Finally, we head over to the Illinois side to talk with Triad Head Girls’ Soccer Coach Matt Bettlach about his squad and how they are preparing for the IHSA Class 2 soccer playoffs.
