Three Local Teams Headline First State Football Media Poll

After claiming road victories to start the 2022 football season, Christian Brothers, St. Mary’s, and Lutheran St. Charles are in the top slot of their respective classes in the initial State Media Poll as voted on by members of the media from around the state.

The Cadets are coming off a 42-27 win over Milton, Ga., in a game played at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, while the Dragons traveled to Oakland Avenue in South Coty and defeated St. Louis University High School 42-10 Friday evening. Lutheran St. Charles hit the road to Colorado and brought home a 26-16 win over Denver Lutheran.

CBC remained in Class 6 after the Missouri State High School Activities Association released the new classifications last Friday morning. Both St. Mary’s and Lutheran St. Charles moved up a class as the Dragons are now in Class 4 while Lutheran St. Charles is now in Class 3.
