The revolving door on top of the High School Sports Caravan Boys’ Basketball Top 10 Rankings continues as Belleville East moves back into the No. 1 position in the rankings while Vashon and Kirkwood continue to inch closer to the top spot. After continuing to impress, Troy joins this list as we get closer to the end of the regular season.

  1. Belleville East (24-5)
    • The Lancers have nine of their last 11 games and will head to cross-town rival Belleville West for a key SWC match-up Tuesday evening.
  2. Vashon (14-7)
    • The Wolverines have won seven straight games including a 63-48 win over East St. Louis and will take on Gateway STEM to start their week of action off.
  3. Kirkwood (20-0)
    • The Pioneers remain undefeated after gaining a pair of wins last week and will host St. Dominic Tuesday evening.
  4. East St. Louis (19-7)
    • The Flyers will look to bounce back after falling to Vashon this past weekend and will travel to O’Fallon to take on the Panthers Tuesday evening.
  5. Cardinal Ritter (18-3)
    • The Lions have won 17 straight games and will host St. Charles West and travel to CBC this week for big matchups.
  6. De Smet (17-5)
    • The Spartans are on a five-game winning streak which includes a 68-66 win over CBC to clinch a share of the MCC title and will travel to Hazelwood Central to open play this week.
  7. Breese Central (24-4)
    • The Cougars have won four of their last five games including a 57-54 road victory at Freeburg and will host Wood River Tuesday evening.
  8. Columbia (26-3)
    • The Eagles will finish the regular season this week with games against Freeburg and at Breese Central as they prepare for the playoffs.
  9. O’Fallon (20-7)
    • The Panthers have won three of their last four games including a 65-51 win over Belleville East and will host East St. Louis Tuesday evening.
  10. Troy (18-4)
    • The Trojans rejoin the list after winning their last three games and will head to Fort Zumwalt West for a key GAC contest Tuesday evening.
