There are changes at the top of the High School Sports Caravan Boys’ Basketball Top 10 rankings continue as East St. Louis assumes the top spot after winning seven consecutive games while Vashon continues to climb in the rankings after winning a pair of big-time matchups over the past week. There is plenty of movement and some new teams in the mix as Columbia, Troy, and Ladue all join the rankings this week.

  1. East St. Louis (17-4)
    • The Flyers move into the top slot with a seven-game winning streak, including a 66-54 victory over CBC. They will take on Collinsville Friday evening at Lindenwood-Belleville.
  2. Belleville East (21-3)
    • The Lancers have won six straight and will travel to Cahokia Tuesday evening for a key non-conference match-up.
  3. Vashon (11-7)
    • The Wolverines have won four straight including a victory over nationally ranked Huntington Prep and Missouri Class 6 power Staley and will play Simeon out of Chicago Saturday at the Bank of O’Fallon Shootout.
  4. Kirkwood (17-0)
    • The Pioneers remain undefeated after defeating De Smet 57-39 in the Circle 7 Shootout title game and will take on Pattonville Tuesday evening.
  5. O’Fallon (17-6)
    • The Panthers are looking to bounce back after falling to Edwardsville last Friday evening as they host Whitfield Saturday at the Bank of O’Fallon Shootout.
  6. Cardinal Ritter (15-3)
    • The Lions defeated Chaminade this past Monday 79-65 to run their winning streak to 14 games and will head take on Bishop DuBourg Tuesday evening in a AAA conference battle.
  7. Chaminade (14-6)
    • The Red Devils will look to snap a three-game losing skid as they host CBC Friday evening in a key Metro Catholic Conference match-up.
  8. Columbia (23-2)
    • The Eagles join the list on a 15-game winning streak, including winning the Okawville tournament and will host Civic Memorial Tuesday evening.
  9. Troy (15-4)
    • The Trojans enter the rankings by winning 10 of their last 11 games with their only loss coming in the final of the Nixa tournament this past weekend to the host Eagles and will host Fort Zumwalt West Friday evening.
  10. Ladue (15-4)
    • The Rams slide into the rankings after winning eight of their last nine games and will host Lafayette Friday evening.
