Incarnate Word continues to stay on top of this week’s High School Sports Caravan Girls’ Basketball Top 10 Rankings after stretching their winning streak to 88 games this past week by winning the Webster Winter Classic. There was some shuffling in the middle of the rankings as Eureka moved closer to the top five.
- Incarnate Word (20-0)
- The Red Knights continued to just win as they defeated Vashon 72-61 in the championship game of the Webster Winter Classic and will host Visitation Tuesday evening in MWAA action.
- John Burroughs (19-2)
- The Bombers wrapped up the Metro League title with a 69-34 win over Lutheran North and will take on Parkway Central Wednesday evening in the Queen of Hearts Tournament at Villa Duchesne.
- Alton (26-1)
- The Red Birds bounced back after falling to O’Fallon with a pair of wins over Granite City and Belleville West and will take on Belleville East Tuesday evening.
- Vashon (16-5)
- The Wolverines won six straight games before falling to IWA in the final of the Webster Winter Classic and will take on Miller Career Tuesday evening.
- O’Fallon (26-4)
- The Panthers have won six straight games including a 41-40 win over Cardinal Ritter this past Friday evening and will finish the regular season Tuesday night as they host Collinsville.
- Eureka (16-6)
- The Wildcats won five consecutive games including a 67-61 win over Marquette and will play Pattonville Tuesday evening.
- Pattonville (10-4)
- The Pirates have lost a pair of games and will travel to Eureka to take on the Wildcats Tuesday evening.
- Lutheran St. Charles (17-3)
- The Cougars continue to impress as they have won four straight contests and will host St. Dominic Tuesday evening.
- Parkway South (16-4)
- The Patriots have won six of their last seven games and will host Parkway West Tuesday evening.
- Cardinal Ritter (12-7)
- The Lions will look to bounce back after losing to O’Fallon this past Friday evening with a match-up against Rock Bridge Saturday afternoon at Tolton.
