Incarnate Word continues to stay on top of this week’s High School Sports Caravan Girls’ Basketball Top 10 Rankings after stretching their winning streak to 80 games this past week. Alton continues to move up the rankings as they are also undefeated while a trio of teams join the bottom of the rankings for the first time this season.

 

  1. Incarnate Word (12-0)
    • The Red Knights continued their winning ways with a win over Normal, Ill. this past Friday evening and will take on Cor Jesu Tuesday evening.
  2. John Burroughs (15-2)
    • The Bombers won a pair of games last week including a 50-21 victory over MICDS and will travel to Pattonville for a battle of top teams in the area Tuesday evening.
  3. Alton (21-0)
    • The Red Birds continue to impress with three wins over the last five days including a 58-56 victory over Teutopolis and will take on Mater Dei at Highland Wednesday.
  4. Pattonville (9-1)
    • The Pirates are currently on a four-game winning streak and will battle John Burroughs Tuesday evening at home.
  5. Vashon (10-4)
    • The Wolverines will look to snap a two-game losing streak at Bartlett, Tenn., with a match-up against Huntsville, Ala., Friday evening.
  6. O’Fallon (19-3)
    • The Panthers are on a five-game winning streak and will head to Highland to take on Class 2A power Civic Memorial Wednesday evening.
  7. Eureka (11-6)
    • The Wildcats fell to Columbia Hickman in the final of the Rotating 8 tournament 65-51 and will look to rebound against Parkway West Tuesday evening.
  8. Timberland (13-3)
    • The Wolves are currently on a six-game winning streak including a 54-37 victory over Warrenton in the Warrenton tourney final and will travel to Parkway South for a contest Tuesday evening.
  9. Lutheran St. Charles (13-2)
    • The Cougars have won 10 straight games and will head to St. James for a contest Wednesday evening.
  10. Lutheran South (11-2)
    • The Lancers are currently on a 10-game winning streak which includes winning a pair of tournaments and will host Parkway Central Wednesday evening.
