After three weeks of the high school football season, we are starting to get a good idea of how many of the area’s teams are looking in the early season. Despite a 1-2 start to the season, East St. Louis starts our 2022 HSSC/Scoops with Danny Mac Top 10 rankings in the top slot. The Flyers have played one of the toughest schedules to start the year and their two losses are by a combined nine points to a pair of teams that are national powers. CBC will enter the initial rankings in the second slot with Howell coming in third.
