St. Dominic remains on top of this week’s HSSC/Scoops with Danny Mac Girls’ Soccer Top 10 poll after an undefeated week on the pitch while Triad enters the rankings after knocking off O’Fallon last week. St. Joseph joins the poll after a successful weekend in the St. Louis Classic. The middle part of the week is going to be affected by the weather as severe storms are set to hit the area Wednesday.

 

  1. St. Dominic (10-1)
    • The Crusaders won four matches last week including a 1-0 win over Notre Dame and will take on Duchesne Tuesday night.
  1. Fort Zumwalt South (7-0)
    • The Bulldogs won both of their games last week and will travel to Washington for a contest Tuesday night.
  1. Triad (9-0)
    • The Knights enter the poll after defeating O’Fallon st week and will travel to Alton for a match Friday evening.
  1. O’Fallon (8-1)
    • The Panthers dropped their first game of the year to Triad Friday evening and will look to bounce back with a game against Oakville Tuesday evening.
  1. Parkway West (6-0)
    • The Longhorns continued their outstanding start to the season with four wins last week and will travel to Seckman for a match Thursday evening.
  1. St. Joseph Academy (6-0)
    • The Angels won a pair of matches in the St. Louis Classic with wins over Edwardsville and Incarnate Word and will take on Summit Tuesday night.
  1. Cor Jesu (6-1-1)
    • The Chargers are 4-0-1 in their last five matches and will travel to Villa Duchesne for a contest Wednesday afternoon.
  1. Nerinx Hall (5-1-1)
    • The Markers went 1-0-1 in the St. Louis Classic this weekend which included a win over Visitation and will take on Incarnate Word Wednesday afternoon.
  1. Waterloo (7-3)
    • The Bulldogs bounced back after pair of losses with a win over Columbia Monday evening and will take on Granite City Tuesday afternoon.
  1. Alton Marquette (6-2-2)
    • The Explorers won a pair of games last week and will travel to Althoff for a match Thursday evening.
