Top 10 Poll – Girls Soccer – HSSC – April 19, 2022

St. Dominic remains on top of this week’s HSSC/Scoops with Danny Mac Girls’ Soccer Top 10 poll after winning their only game last week while Fort Zumwalt South and Triad remain in the second and third slots after wins last week. Fox and Alton join the rankings this week after very impressive starts to the season.

 

  1. St. Dominic (11-1)
    • The Crusaders won their only match of the week with a 1-0 win over Duchesne and will travel to Westminster to play the Wildcats Wednesday afternoon.
  1. Fort Zumwalt South (10-0)
    • The Bulldogs won a pair of games last week including a 4-0 win over Ursuline in the Parkway Showcase Saturday and will take on Fort Zumwalt East Tuesday to start their week.
  1. Triad (11-0)
    • The Knights won two games last week and will look to continue their winning streak with a match at Jerseyville Tuesday afternoon.
  1. O’Fallon (9-1)
    • The Panthers bounced back after their first loss of the year with a 5-1 win over Oakville and will play Alton Tuesday night in a key SWC matchup.
  1. Parkway West (9-0)
    • The Longhorns won three games last week including a pair of victories at the Parkway Showcase and will take on Parkway South and Kirkwood this week.
  1. St. Joseph Academy (7-0)
    • The Angels defeated Summit in their only match last week and will travel to Lindbergh for a match Tuesday evening.
  1. Nerinx Hall (7-1-1)
    • The Markers won two games last week including a 4-2 victory over Aurora Metea Valley Saturday at the Parkway Showcase and will begin their week with a contest against Incarnate Word.
  1. Cor Jesu (7-1-2)
    • The Chargers went 1-0-1 at the Parkway Showcase over the weekend and will take on St. Joseph’s Wednesday afternoon.
  1. Fox (10-2)
    • The Warriors join the list after winning their last eight matches, including a pair of victories in the Hillsboro tournament, and will play Webster Groves next Tuesday.
  1. Alton (10-2)
    • The Redbirds enter the top 10 after winning five of their last six matches at will travel to O’Fallon Tuesday for a key SWC matchup.
