Top 10 Poll – Girls Soccer – HSSC – April 26, 2022

St. Dominic continues to stay on top of this week’s HSSC/Scoops with Danny Mac Girls’ Soccer Top 10 poll after winning their only game last week while Triad and Fort Zumwalt South flip spots in the top five. Duchesne joins the list after another outstanding week.

 

1. St. Dominic (12-1)

• • The Crusaders won their only match of the week with a 5-1 win over Timberland in the opening round of the Crusader Classic and will take on Liberty Tuesday night.

2. Triad (14-0)

• • The Knights won a pair of games over the weekend and will travel to Mascoutah for a match Tuesday afternoon.

3. Fort Zumwalt South (14-1)

• • The Bulldogs bounced back after losing their first match of the season with three wins and will take on Lindbergh in the Summit Tournament Tuesday afternoon.

4. Parkway West (11-0)

• • The Longhorns won two games last week and will take on Troy Tuesday night.

5. O’Fallon (13-1)

• • The Panthers have won five straight matches and will travel to Collinsville for a game Wednesday night.

6. Cor Jesu (10-1-2)

• • The Chargers won three matches last week, including a 1-0 win over St. Joe’s, and will take on Liberty Wednesday afternoon.

7. St. Joseph Academy (8-1)

• • The Angels fell to Cor Jesu last week 1-0 for their first loss of the year and will look to bounce back with a match against Nerinx Hall Tuesday afternoon.

8. Nerinx Hall (9-2-1)

• • The Markers have won their last two games and will host St. Joe’s Tuesday night in a key MWAA conference match.

9. Duchesne (10-1)

• • The Pioneers join the list winning their last three matches after suffering their only loss of the year to St. Dominic 1-0 and will play host to Whitfield Wednesday night.

10. Alton (11-3)

• • The Redbirds bounced back after falling to O’Fallon 1-0 with a win over Granite City and will play Civic Memorial Thursday night.
