Top 10 Poll – Girls Soccer – HSSC – May 10, 2022

Fort Zumwalt South remains on top of this week’s HSSC/Scoops with Danny Mac Girls’ Soccer Top 10 poll after winning a pair of games last week. Cor Jesu inches closer to the top of the rankings with a big win over St. Dominic last week. This is the last regular season week of play for the Missouri teams as district play opens this weekend.

 

  1. Fort Zumwalt South (19-1)
    • The Bulldogs have won eight straight matches and will finish the regular season Tuesday against Fort Zumwalt West.
  1. Triad (18-1)
    • The Knights finished the regular season with a win over Collinsville and will open the IHSA tournament play next Tuesday against Taylorville at Civic Memorial.
  1. Parkway West (17-0)
    • The Longhorns won three games last week and will wrap up the regular season against Pattonville Tuesday night.
  1. St. Dominic (15-3)
    • The Crusaders were 2-1 last week and will look to bounce back after a loss to Cor Jesu with a match against Duchesne Tuesday night.
  1. O’Fallon (16-1)
    • The Panthers have won eight straight matches and will start their week with a contest against Collinsville Tuesday evening.
  1. Cor Jesu (14-2-2)
    • The Chargers went 2-1 last week including a 4-1 win over St. Dominic and will finish the regular season against Incarnate Word Thursday afternoon.
  1. Nerinx Hall (11-2-1)
    • The Markers have won eight consecutive matches and will wrap up the regular season against Ursuline Tuesday afternoon.
  1. Duchesne (14-1)
    • The Pioneers claimed a pair of wins last week and will take on St. Dominic Tuesday night for the AAA title.
  1. St. Joseph Academy (12-3-1)
    • The Angels bounced back after losing to St. Dominic with a win over Villa Duchesne and will finish the regular season against IWA Tuesday afternoon.
  1. Alton (14-3)
    • The Redbirds have won their last four matches and will take on Edwardsville Tuesday night.
