Top 10 Poll – Girls Soccer – HSSC – May 3, 2022

Fort Zumwalt South ascends to the top of this week’s HSSC/Scoops with Danny Mac Girls’ Soccer Top 10 poll after winning three games last week. There was some movement at the bottom of the list as Nerinx Hall defeated St. Joseph Academy in one of the feature games of the week.

 

  1. Fort Zumwalt South (17-1)
    • The Bulldogs have won six straight matches and won three games at the Summit tournament and will take on Washington Tuesday evening.
  1. St. Dominic (13-2)
    • The Crusaders bounced back after losing to Liberty with a win over Rosati-Kain and will travel to St. Joseph’s Academy Wednesday afternoon.
  1. Triad (15-1)
    • The Knights saw their winning streak come to an end with a loss to Waterloo last week and will take on Civic Memorial Tuesday afternoon.
  1. Parkway West (14-0)
    • The Longhorns remain the only undefeated team in the area with a pair of wins last week and will travel to Northwest Thursday night.
  1. O’Fallon (13-1)
    • The Panthers get back on the pitch after having a game canceled due to weather last week with a match against Edwardsville Tuesday night.
  1. Nerinx Hall (11-2-1)
    • The Markers defeated St. Joe’s and Webster Groves last week and will travel to play Visitation Tuesday afternoon.
  1. Cor Jesu (12-1-2)
    • The Chargers have won six straight matches and will host Ursuline Tuesday afternoon.
  1. Duchesne (12-1)
    • The Pioneers won the Orchard Farm tournament with a 3-1 win over the host Eagles Friday evening and will take on Parkway Central Wednesday evening.
  1. St. Joseph Academy (11-2-1)
    • The Angels lost to Nerinx Hall before beating Westminster and will host St. Dominic Wednesday afternoon.
  1. Alton (13-3)
    • The Redbirds defeated Hazelwood West last week and will host Collinsville Tuesday night.
