After gaining state championships last weekend, Festus and John Burroughs earned the top spots in the final Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association Top 10 that was released Tuesday evening. Festus leads a local group of three teams with the No. 1 slot in Class 5 while Borgia finished second and Fort Zumwalt South claimed the third slot to lead six teams that were voted on in the final poll. John Burroughs took the top spot in Class 4 after winning the state crown last week while in Class 6, Howell drew the runners-up position to pace five local teams.
