The St. Louis Browns Fan Club and Historical Society celebrated the 75th anniversary of the 1944 World Series, dubbed the Streetcar Series. Attendees included former Brownies, Don Larsen, Ed Mickelson, and Tom Jordan. Mickelson gave a lengthy speech detailing the series and received a standing ovation.
