The second edition of “Inside the Lines” features Executive Director of the (MSHSAA) Missouri State High School Activities Association, Dr. Kerwin Urhahn, and DeSmet head basketball coach, Kent Williams.

Dr. Urhahn talks about how the pandemic has affected his association, student-athletes along with staff in school sports programs. He delves into the upcoming end to basketball season and getting started with Missouri spring sports. Girls wrestling has exploded in Missouri- we hear about it’s popularity and how its gone in its first year dealing with infectious disease. How soon before they have as many classes for girls as they do boys? State records, the return of a packed-house and more. Dr. Urhahn also tells us about the return of theatre and the excellent programs outside of sports that the state looks to celebrate again this spring.

No one better to talk to about high school basketball in St. Louis than DeSmet coach Kent Williams. His season has been very successful so far. We learn all about it here and how its different than previous seasons:
