In today’s edition of the Inside the Lines High School Sports Podcast with Jim Powers, we talk about summer and off-season training and the mental side of athletics. First, we talk to former Webster Groves standout Drew Hanlen from Pure Sweat Basketball about what players should be doing in the summer within what he calls “unseen hours”. Then, Jim chats with his mentor from when he started his basketball coaching career back in Ohio. Bob Krizancic is the head coach at Mentor High School in Ohio and has won state championships at both Mentor and Girard. Coach K talks about his book, Mental Toughness, The Game Changer, and how it translates to all high school athletes and coaches.
