Rick Ankiel played in the Major Leagues from 1999 through 2013 for the St. Louis Cardinals , Kansas City Royals, Atlanta Braves, Washington Nationals, Houston Astros, and New York Mets. He played multiple roles in the big leagues as a pitcher turned outfielder/hitter.

This is one of the greatest sports stories in recent history. Rick Ankiel got the yips and he couldn’t throw a strike. The ability to pitch left him. Then, he reinvented himself as a position player and made it to the major leagues again. It’s an inspirational story of perseverance and the will to overcome struggles. This podcast will resonate with sports fans and non sports fans as well.

Highly recommend Rick’s book.
